All Covered 6 Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) courses introduce evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care for every civilian tactical environment. Our instructors are current and former firefighters, military special operations medics, law enforcement, first responders, and private military contractors with real-world experience. 

Covered 6 Tactical Emergency Casualty Care courses are geared towards military personnel, first responders, law enforcement, security personnel, and well-versed civilians. Covered 6 courses utilize NAEMT didactic learning, hands-on skills stations, and real-world scenarios to ensure all students maximize learning potential. Covered 6 offers private group training for 8+ students. 

Covered 6 is a certified NAEMT facility and conducts TECC courses under the auspices of its PHTLS program, the recognized world leader in pre-hospital trauma education. Covered 6's TECC-LEO course uses the PHTLS Civilian textbook and TECC uses the PHTLS Military textbook. All courses are fully compliant with the Department of Defense’s Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (CoTECC) guidelines. It is the only TECC course endorsed by the American College of Surgeons.

Course Pricing and Details


Tactical Emergency Casualty Care - Law Enforcement (TECC-LEO)

Course Duration: 8 Hours
Cost:  $350 

TECC-LEO covers the three phases of tactical care and integrates parallel EMS nomenclature. The course focuses on MARCH assessment, hemorrhage control, non-invasive airway management, pediatric concerns, treating wounded first responders, threatening environments, drags, lifts, and carry techniques. The course is broken into two days, 4 hours of lectures and skills, followed by 4 hours of scenarios. 


Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC)

Course Duration: 16 Hours (2 Days)
Cost: $495

TECC covers the three phases of tactical care and integrates parallel EMS nomenclature. The course focuses on MARCH assessment, hemorrhage control, non-invasive and invasive airway management, pediatric concerns, pain management, IV/IO access, needle decompression, treating wounded first responders, threatening environments, expanded drags, and lift and carry techniques. The course is broken into 8 hours of lecture and 8 hours of skills and scenarios.


Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TCCC)

*This course is only open to military personnel or law enforcement. 

Course Duration: 16 Hours (2 Days)
Cost:  $495

TCCC for Combat Medics / Corpsmen focuses on the three phases of military tactical care CUF, TFC, and TACEVAC. This course will review items such as MARCH PAWS, combat vs. non-combat, team dynamics, roles and responsibilities, 9 line, medical equipment, extensive wound treatment, prolonged field care, unit command, and casualty collection point.
