Earlier this month, Covered 6 officers Niko and Joey were on routine patrol and refueling at a gas station when a distraught mother appeared with her toddler, who was not breathing and turning blue. Immediately, officers Niko and Joey jumped into action. While Niko assessed the toddler and started treatment, Joey contacted Police dispatch to get EMS in route. Because of their quick actions, the baby started breathing again and was transported to a local hospital for monitoring.
